CREATIVE APPROACHES FOR THERAPISTS
This is an exciting and practical new one-day workshop for psychotherapists, counsellors, hypnotherapists, EFT practitioners, life coaches, youth workers, complementary therapists. The aim of the course is to introduce you to a wide range of creative therapeutic approaches which you can incorporate into your work with clients.

Times: 10am - 5.30pm
Venue: Hadfield Hall, Railway Street, Hadfield, Glossop, Derbyshire
Tutor: Masha Bennett, UKCP Registered psychotherapist and an international trainer

CPD: This course is valid as continuing professional development for members of the General Hypnotherapy Register, and is likely to be recognised by other professional organisations (please contact your own association to check).

Course content:
- Applications of creativity in therapy
- Therapeutic use of music and sound, including voice, instruments and recordings - for grounding, relaxation, release of emotional blocks
- Drawing and painting for emotional re-processing
- Introduction to Sandplay as a transformational tool
- Use of puppets, toys and other props with both adults and children
- Creative writing as a therapeutic tool
- Directive and non-directive methods
- Progression routes - recommended reading and further training
About the tutor: Masha is a registered psychotherapist who has been using a wide range of creative approaches with clients in a wide variety of settings (mental health, addiction recovery, criminal justice, psychotherapy etc) over the last 12 years.
