Sound Healing

Sound Healing, or Sound Therapy is a type of complementary therapy using voice, instruments and sound in all its forms for the purposes of healing, personal growth, spiritual development.

The forms of sound healing I use in my therapy practice include gongs, drums, other percussion instruments, and voice. These could form a small part of a therapy session, or work as a stand-alone treatment. Please enquire if you are interested in sound healing as the main therapy.

I have studied with the College of Sound Healing since 2011, and am continuing my learning journey in ongoing training to become a gong therapy practitioner, with gongmasters Sheila Whittaker, Don Conreaux and Aidan McIntyre.

I offer individual gong therapy sessions, as well as occasional Gong Bath Meditations for groups. The latter can be booked for groups and organisations, as part of team away days, relaxation and stress-busing sessions.

I am also training in Sacred Drumming with Steven and Renata Ash of Rainbow Medicine Circle, and from November 2017 will be running a monthly Drumming group at The Craft Barn, Hadfield, Glossop.

If you are interested in finding out more about Sound Healing as a therapist / practitioner, I can highly recommend to the annual conference of The College of Sound Healing which takes place every November in Great Malvern, where you can take part in workshops and hear presenters on varied topics in this rich and fascinating field. The conference usually gets booked up far in advance, so I would recommend to book early.

Let Your Soul Sing

Rhiannon also runs occasional Let Your Soul Sing workshops based on the Naked Voice work of Chloe Goodchild. This will help you free up and connect with your authentic voice, and is a powerful and profound day of self-discovery.
