Events Autumn 2020
Face-to-face events, courses and workshops will be restarting in September 2020, quarantine restrictions allowing. All updates will be posted on my Facebook page, Masha’s Sand & Sound Centre
All events take place at The Sand & Sound Centre, Wren Nest Business Centre, Wren Nest Road, Glossop, Derbyshire SK13 6LN, set in the High Peak on the edge of the Peak District, approximately 40 min drive from Manchester and a little more from Sheffield.
Integrative Sandplay Therapy Workshops
Integrative Sandplay is a beautifully creative and holistic form of therapy for both adults and children. To enquire about your eligibility and for course details, contact masha@practicalhappiness.co.uk

Each participant will have an individual sandtray allocated, and social distancing and other guidelines will be adhered to.
The cost is £240 for a two-day workshop and £120 for a one-day workshop, with early bird discount when booked with deposit at least one month in advance. Discount may be available to students in financial hardship.

Gong Bath Meditations
Maximum 6 places. Experience the transcendent and powerful sounds of the gongs and other sound healing instruments during these Gong Bath Meditations. You will need to bring a bottle of water, and some bedding (sleeping bag/thick mat, blanket, pillow) so that lie on the floor comfortably for 1 hour +. Advance booking by email essential.

Drumming Circle
The Drumming Circle is a monthly group meeting on 3rd Wednesday of each month (with rare exceptions). In dry weather in summer and early autumn, we meet at Bankswood Park, Hadfield, otherwise we meet at The Sand & Sound Centre in Glossop. It is a friendly and informal group, suitable for all, no experience necessary. Bring your own drum of any kind – frame drums, djembes etc are all welcome (spare drums are usually provided but not during the current quarantine times). When we meet indoors, the maximum number is 8, and suggested contribution towards the room is £5 or £3 if you are on low income. There is no charge when we meet outdoors. Email to book your place.

Art Workshops & Classes
Monday 14 September 2020 11.30am-2.30pm – Start of 6 Week Watercolour Class with Laurance Worrall, £25 per class, all equipment provided. Fortnightly class, 6 places only (3 available)
Laurance (Lol) has been my art teacher for the last three years and in my very first class with him I was able to produce a picture that was good enough to put on the wall (an impossible feat up until then!). Contact Lol to book your place.
